Larry Caplan, the Extension Horticulture Educator of Vanderburgh County will offer a Master Gardener training class starting the first week of September thru mid December. Classes are available Thursday evening from 6-9pm and Friday morning 9a-noon at Ivy Tech State Colleg. The cost is $125. Call 812-435-5287.
The deadline to order food from Angel Food Ministries is September 15. The pick up date is Sept. 27 from 10a-12 noon. The pick up locations are :Destiny of Faith Community Church on Forest Ave in Evansville and First Baptist Church on Cherry Street in Evansville.
